Hi sharie, there are always canned or pack of drinks of different variety in my fridge. We do have coffee, tea and hot beverage as well to entertain the visitors at anytime. Though I live in a tropical country where the weather here is hot most of the time I notice that older people still prefer to have hot drinks whereas almost all the kids and young guys love those iced cold drinks all the time. I usually would ask my guests before serving them so that they could really enjoy and happy with the drinks. posting and have a nice day.

hello sharie16 Frankly speaking it depends upon what the guest need. If any guest is visiting my house I first ask them what they like, whether it is cold or hot coffee, green tea, lemon tea, juice or soft drinks. It also depends according to the weather. I think without asking your guest serving anything is not praiseworth as someone may like coffee but you have served him or her tea. So to avoid any confusion it is better to ask and then serve. pkc3000

Hello,Sharie! Whenever a guest comes to our house we generally offer him/her some drinks and/or snacks. It is a common manners everybody follows. But most of the time we offer tea as everybody prefers tea or coffee.Of course during summer we offer sometimes lemon juice or orange juice or yogurt as per the choice of the guest. However, tea is the most cheapest and the common drink after water. It is a drink that can be connected socially, culturally, ritually, spiritually and therapeutically.Thanx.

Well, I usually ask them what they would like - coke, coffee, juice, green tea or plain water. I notice that many people nowadays prefer to take either water or green tea; looks like we are more health-conscious!
