Who really looks at the tags on messages?

I, for one, wish myLot would rip the tags off the discussions. I cannot count the times I have written a reply, checked it for spelling, maybe even edited a portion of it, and then proudly click "submit". I use tabbed browsing and I never turn my PC off, so I can understand entirely how this is all my fault. Many times; in fact most times after clicking on "submit", I will switch to another tab and go do some PTC sites, or read the world news, or play a favorite online game, or read my e-mail. These things, I now understand, should never be done without the permission of myLot, because every time I do them and come back hours later, or even the next day, I am greeted by that irritating page with a message asking me to add a tag to this message or skip the process. So much time has passed that I generally cancel my message entirely and once again feel that I have been cheated out of a penny and another golden opportunity to voice my opinion on matters of meager social value. Most of the titles, and the first visible lines of the message generally give a person some idea of what the discussion is going to be about, so why should every person who submits a reply be subjected to the agony of deciding whether to tag, what to put in the tag, or skip the process altogether. This is actually the only message board I have used which allows tags by those who reply to a message, and only a few have tags at all which are used by the originator of the message only. So I suppose that in the scheme of all things, tags are just irritating. Tags on underwear irritate your back, tags on shirts irritate your neck, and tags in myLot just irritate.

Tags are powerful keywords for search engines. Search engine crawlers look for tags of an article first to get the content. Use of proper tags will give enough good exposure of your posts to the online community. myLot counts the use of tags for discussion for earning potential as I have experienced. It may be a minute change in the earning per post, but at the final it matters a lot. I always take care of putting proper tags to the discussion. If you have blogs or sites, using intelligently framed tags in myLot discussion will give you good traffic from search engines to your blogs. Happy myLotting!

See my friend, you did not use any tag and I got a place in your discussion. Now if anybody do a search for 'aryajayaprakash' search engines will show this discussion. So tags are powerful and if you have blogs/sites/ or other online business, they are the best way to publicize your company name.

It seems you have mistaken. I just wanted to show you, if you skip tags, your tags will be used by other responders. That is the fact about tags. This is one of the key to the keyword density in the total online presence not only limited to this particular discussion. If you are a serious blogger or site owner, you have to spread the keyword you choose to drive traffic to your site in as many places as you can. Sorry if you felt hurt in the course of telling you the truth about tags.

OK sir, Agreed, I will take caution not to respond to any of your discussions in the future. I am really sorry for whatever happened and I respect your experience in website creation. myLot is only a time pass for me when my wife had gone to the native place for a short vacation and I do not have any great website or online money making businessess to get benefit out of those tags. If you can delete this discussion, please do it. I don't know on which hell of the moment I responded to this discussion. Sorry for responding to your discussion.

You are extremely correct and just stole the words out of my mouth (or my fingers!). Yes, i too use tabbed browsing and an always-on PC. Someone should really suggest this to myLot and good points there. Happy myLotting!
