Do you wash your hand before a meal?

Yea,at home I will always wash my hand before a meal as I'm the cheif in my home,I always cook the meal then enjoy them with my wife~wonderful.So,I wash hand~While out there,it depends.As you know,not every restarant has the washing room....and most time we don't have a choice outside,especially for the normal lunch during the working hours~`

Yes, i do wash my hand before eating. But when i eat in the restaurant or any food chain, i just put a washable lotion which i bring everyday in my bag.

I usually wash my hands before a meal, but I think that's just a habit I got at home growing up. Still it's always good to wash them so they're clean, especially if they are dirty, etc.

Well even wash my hand at home.But when going out for food,i rarely wash my hand.I am engrossed in talking with that person,that I forget to wash my hand.Well you can say that it is kind of unhygienic,cause u cannot know where all your hand has been,what all kinds of germs exposed to.But this is not as dangerous as the pollution that we all are exposed to,the polluting gases.So it aint that bad i guess

I work in the company that makes (PURELL HAND SANITIZER) and believe me, I keep a lot of it on hand for those times when you can't wash your hands and even when you could, I still use it. It kills: 99.99% of germs yet keeps your hands nice and soft! In my purse I always have several tiny bottles of it to use or give to my friends and we all use it. At home I have all kinds of it too, I don't want to take the risk of picking up something awful when I touch public door knobs, shopping carts, toilet handles etc. etc.. Remember, (MRSA) is out there and I sure don't want to catch it!!

I eat with my hands on most occasions and hence I wash my hands before every meal - at home or outside.

i can agree with pple not washing their hand before having a burger or sumthing like tht.. cause it in itself is so unhygenic tht it doesnt make much of a diff u c.. more over i feel yuks if i dont wash my hands b4 eating. actually u shudnt do things to dirty ur hands in the first place.. :D

Yes;I do wash my hands before taking meals . It is good in the sense that my hands get free of germs before I start eating . Germs may cause stomach and other problems . However;one cannot have such care when eating at a hawker's . So;one thing that I try to do is to avoid eating at a Hawker's as far as possible . Regards Sweety_81

Hi henryjoe, Yes at home you wash your hands before you eat your meal but when in the resturant, you should do the sae thing but if you are eating out in the stalls you shoul have knife and fork to eat you foood with. We don't have stalls like where you are and we always eat our food with utensils. Tamara

Wow I'm quie different haha. I dont actually wash my hands before a meal unless specifically asked to do so. I dont really find the need to unless my hands are in an apalling state in which case I do wash them.

Yes of course, that's to ensure the food we going to consume is not with additional things like dirt. Do remember that the impact increased if the meal is for kids or children, that's because children will just follow whatever food we provide to them. Also, it should become a good practice for us, this to ensure no more chance for the gems and bacteria to get through mouth.

I always either wash or use hand sanitizer if there are no washing facilities. Sometimes after I was I still use hand sanitizer, because I'm very careful about hand hygiene. I don't want to get sick. I never get sick because I always wash. I also wash my hands first thing when I come in from outside. It might be a bit much, but as I said I don't want to get sick.

i am used to washing my hands before a meal and also after a meal at home.when eating outside,if the wash room is not handy, you know , what i can do is only giving up my habit for the moment.but i always make sure my hands are not dirty before meals.

I always wash my hands before a meal. If I am at a restaurant, I carry a had sanitizer to clean my hands with. If I am invited to someone else home I will ask if I may wash my hands.

Yeah, it's a habit, before eating the hands get washed. My mommy taught me well. LOL
