The number 13

Hello Anne13 hahaha No I don't really have a problem with the number 13 and my mum's birthday is on the 13th March which occassionally falls on a Friday but nothing weird or bad seems to happen, but I must say that when I am putting grapes in my son's pot to take to school I have to make sure that I haven't put 13 in there it would have to be 10, 15 or 20. There's that number thing again!!

hi In my opnon and my experiance 13 is just a normal number. Its not effect to me peoples to say.No think like this type of opnions.

I don't think that it's an unlucky number, at least for me. Every time I got a ticket with this number at the exams I passed them with excellent or good mark.

I don't think there's anything strange about the number 13. It's just a superstition. I've never had anything bad happen to me on Friday the 13th. Back in high school, my class number was 13 during 1st and 3rd year and nothing strange ever happened to me. In Hong Kong, they don't think that 13 is an unlucky number. Their unlucky number there is 4. They don't have a 4th floor in buildings but they have a 13th floor.

Non its all superstition and since everyday something bad happens to most of us like droping a plate and hitting your toe. Number 13 is not an unlucky number steve nash wears this number and so far hes not getting runned over by shaq. hahahahahahaha

No 13 is not a unlucky . its just a perception which people developed over the timel. i am saying this because so many time i have expreinced this with my personal incidents

In a lot of myths and traditions, of many nations, thirteen is unlucky. That superstition also has a basis in the early medieval Christian Church. There were thirteen present at the last supper, and Judas betrayed Jesus immediately after. Jesus was crucified on Friday. Hence Friday the Thirteenth is an unlucky combination.

I must admit I don't like that number. I am somewhat superstitious. Nothing bad has ever happened to me on Friday the 13th though. I had this co worker that felt the number 13 was lucky and she used to wear this gold necklace with a number 13 charm. First time I ever heard someone thinking that number was lucky.

LOL! I have nothing against the number 13 or the number 666 or any number for that matter. I hate all numbers equally. I am better with words. While I used to top the class in English, I would flunk mathematics. So I leave numbers alone, and they don't bother me. Hardly notice the dates. :) Cheers and happy mylotting

Now Friday 13 is what ever you believe my self I think it just like any other number. My dad was born on Friday 13th. then My mother was born on December 25th And they had 5 boys 2 girls And we are all happy!!!! crazydaisy

I guess it is just a supertitious belief, i dont think that it is unlucky number for nothing bad happen to me in friday the 13th. I just treat as like very other numbers in the calendar. No meaning at all, except my birth day date.

I dont believe in superstitions. I think its all in the mind. The more you think about it, then it will really happen. Its the law of attraction. If you think negative thoughts then bad things will happen to you. We must always think positive thoughts and be optimistic all the time, so that we will attract good things and events. Trust me it works!

the number 13 is just a number , so why waking things so complicated ? I do stuff in each 13 of monthes and nothing happened to me it's just some fake beliefs that people's minds make for just nothing. I hate that, spersticious . 13th, Fridays,unlucky... just lies , there is nothing to worry about .

I never was superstitious about the number thirteen. On Friday the 13th we'd all hear conjecture about what could happen or what would happen, but most of it was from people all in good fun. Still yet there are people who swear that 13 is an unlucky number. But as far as I know nothing has ever happened to me to lead me to believe 13 is an unlucky number.

I like the number 13 and it is one of my favorite numbers after 8 and 17 and 26 which all collapse into 8 when the digits are added together. I used to think that 13 was unlucky but I got out of that superstition and jumped right into another. Cheers!!

I have heard that there are some buildings with no thirteenth floor. I live on the 13th floor and so far nothing unlucky has happened to me because of that. I think it's just superstition. I guess the more you think about it, the more unlucky things will happen to you.

it is just plain supertitions and i don't believe that number has anything to do with our lucky. i think what we do in that day determine if the number will be a lucky or not for us. i don't where this believe came from. sometimes i feel that the 13 is my lucky number. i think many people want to have this 13 as their lucky number cause they want to be disprove that the 13 number is unlucky one.

Hi lotters I dont think whether it is Friday/monday/sunday or whether 13/12/23/19/....XYZ to be unlucky or lucky.Its only the mind set which makes one fear of the dates or days.I think every day to be lucky as it comes to you with new challenges and new hopes and new admirations.Its upto oneself how he accepts the days/dates.For me I think it is a very wrong notion to blame the dates or the days for something going wrong with us. Sometimes you would be fascinated to known that the date or the day which you had anticipated to be unlucky would turn out to be the most luckiest and the most memorable day of your life. So I would rather say instead of running of the dates/days you should be prepared to accept the challenges and paustres it brings with itself.

people think 13 as a demonic number but no offense to the people who has birthdays on the 13th day of a month. as what i have observed, buildings doesn't have 13th floor. there is also a bad day called friday the 13th. i really don't know why 13 is a bad or unlucky number. people should OVERSEE the bad image of the number 13.
