Do You Keep A Diary or Maintain a Blog to Record Your Special Events?

I used to have a blog along with a diary but liked the diary better. It's not completely secret, one of my friends also has a diary and we both read each others. It's a good place to go after having a bad day to write it all out.

i don`t have such a habbit... i started several times to write a blog or tried to have my own diary.. but is very hard to keep up with the current events in my life.. and.. also v.. hard to express myself in an optimistic manner.. in order not to hurt anyone with with y rude rearks.. or my thoughts .. i prefer keeping all the things in my memory.. so, in colclusion.. i won`t keep a diary, or a blog.. and not make it public

I have a blog and use it as my release of both good and the bad events in my life. Mind you the bad ones are not very detailed as for privacy issues, but they help me sort and think things out when I see it all in type. I also have a journal but have not used it in quite a while, maybe I should!!!

I have kept a diary for several years. Some days i just write trivial stuff like which shift I worked or if I called at the supermarket etc. Other times I write my deepest fears and worries. I can go back over them and re-live all the happy moments. I can also go back over the less pleasant experiences, remember how desperately alone I felt and appreciate that, although I didnt believe it at the time, I DID find the strength to deal with those things!! My family knows I have diaries and I do wonder if they will read them when I'm no longer around. I wouldn't consider making them public unless it was anonymously - tho I'd consider sharing certain aspects with some people.
