Paying Higher Taxes is "Patriotic"?

I have to laugh in the face of the hypocrits on the left who say that higher taxes are "patriotic". No one is stopping them from donating all they can to the Federal Government. No one is telling Obama, Biden or any other Federal Employee that they have to accept their paycheck and benefits package. Just think how much money the federal government would save if all the Senators and Representatives who are financially independant simply told the paymasters to keep their paychecks and defund their benefits packages. Just think of how much more money the government would have if the Kennedies, Obamas, Kerrys, Michael Moore, Barbra Streisand, the Baldwins, and all the others would pay in taxes what they would have if there were no "Bush Tax Cuts". Why are they waiting to see if Obama wins? Why don't they take the initiative and start donating the amount that their "patriotism" would demand after Obama's tax plan goes into effect. For that matter, why do they use tax deductions. If higher taxes are patriotic, then how unpatriotic of them to seek to reduce their taxable income level, just to avoid the full extent of their patriotic duty. Why aren't the best and brightest lefties of the Music Industry forming USA for USA, singing songs and organizing concerts to pay down the debt? Oh yeah, they are singing songs and organizing concerts, not to pay down the debt but to fill Obama's warchest. If all of what they claim to be for can be done voluntarily, why do they only seem interested in making sure it is done by force? ~~~~~ btw, if paying higher taxes is patriotic, isn't Obama discriminating against the poor and middle class by reducing their opportunity to show their patriotism? ;~D

Find me one person "on the left" who has said "higher taxes are patriotic." Please. I would love to see that quote. As opposed to your silly mangling of it, that is.

Surely no voter will be fooled by Joe Biden's comment. He just couldn't keep the real plan under his hat until after the election, could he? Maybe they will issue a gag order for him like they have done for so many others that claim to support Obama's run for the presidency. The level of hypocricy coming out of his campaign is unbelievable.

Do not question my patriotism, is that not what we hear from the likes of Obama and his ilk? If one does not want to up the door to criticism of patriotism then do not bring it up. If someone think paying more in taxes is patriotic then fell free to donate all you got to the Federal government. Think about Warren Buffet, Bill Gates, or others that form the limousine liberal brigade giving about 90% of all their wealth to the Federal government. Take Bill Gates a man that support tax increases, so led the way Billy boy. Forbes says you are worth 55 billion well I say, because I can you do not need 55 billion dollars so I think the federal government should seize about 54 billion dollars from Billy boy. We could apply this kind of logic toward Warren Buffet, but we all know the harm to the economy that would do. Patriotism is representing what makes your country great, and what made this country great was unbridled, greed is good capitalism with very little taxation. What is so hard to understand about that?
