How will you be spending the last weekend of the summer?

Since fall officially starts on Tuesday, I just thought I'd see what everyone is up to on this last summer weekend. I haven't had a day off in forever, and I have this whole weekend off so I have really been looking forward to it. I am probably going out to the in-laws for the day today, and possibly tomorrow as well. They are paying hubby to do some work outside, and we could definitely use the money. If I do end up going, I will be bringing my laptop with me so I can Mylot, play a little Mousehunt on Facebook, and try and get some work done on my business this weekend.

Working and catching up on college work. Exciting, eh? I already did my work today at the veterinary clinic, and now I need to start on my school work. I have a mountain of homework that I need to finish, it is ridiculous! I wish my summer vacation had been longer.

No, it may not be very exciting, but it's definitely important. I'm really starting to miss school. I had to leave because I couldn't afford to stay, and now I am trying to save up to go back. But with a tight budget and a new baby on the way in February it makes things very hard. I found a great online university where I can take a class at a time toward my degree, so that is what I will be working toward once we have some extra money. The money I make from Mylot I would like to use toward my goal.

I didn't realize it was the last weekend of summer until my mom mentioned it this morning when I came over. It is still warm outside, and humid, so it still feels like summer. Although when I get up in the mornings now it isn't at all warm, but quite cool. I don't have any major plans. I hope to get out and about tomorrow, and maybe take a really long walk to celebrate the much more manageable weather.

I am definitely enjoying the crisper weather in the evenings, it makes it so much nicer to sleep. And even during the day, it's finally not so hot and humid out that I can actually breath! Fall is definitely my favourite time of year.
