Do you always finish things?

I have a question for you, my dear friends: do you always finish the things you once started? The reason why I am asking is because I sometimes can't finish a lot of things that I started. For example, I have a lot of ideas on how to earn some money online like starting blogs etc, but it is always stops after just a few posts. I just wonder what you do to keep going and finish the things you once started?

Sure you do. Your mylot response number is way ahead of me. Tell me are you from Bhubaneswar? Friends and seniors are really of great value. Your advice is very good. Hope to implement it . Mylot is fast becoming my favourite place to hang around on internet for this type of interactivity. people are so eager to give any sort of answers.

Perhaps if you just keep a single idea and focus on it.. then again, you did say that you do have a lot of them in you and when you start one, you inadvertently stop, perhaps because you start another idea and like the previous attempt to start something, you again stop and go for another idea which would be the third one.. If you can, perhaps you can juggle more than just one idea. When you don't want to continue at a certain activity that your in, you would focus your attention to another activity. Though, you should limit your task to a manageable number, say five things. So whenever you cease on one activity, you may just transfer your attention to the remaining four and when you get tired of that, you can again choose from the other activities. Can be done in any order that you like. As long as you focus on a few ideas, one of them would certainly get done. If you focus on too many, it'll take more time indeed.. (-_- )

I find I have a problem finishing things when I am online because I get distracted easily, I can be working away on one site and all of a sudden I will get into another site and start working on that and totally forget was I doing originally, it doesn't help having a short term memory problem! Offline I am much better and don't easily get distracted and can easily finish things off, or do more than one thing at once.

I try really hard to finish the things that I start but sometimes I go in with a really great idea with something or the like and then it just gets boring after awhile or it doesn't go how I think it should and then I get bored and lose interest. I try hard to finish things but sometimes I just can't bare to keep going with it. However I am trying harder to keep up with all the things that I start. I think another part of my problem is that I have so many other things going on in my life it's hard to keep up with what I want to do and what I need to do.

The only reason you lose interest... it is because it does not interest you in the first place. The key to success... is to only do the things you love to do. If you don't know what that is... you have to find it. And once you find it... you have to work hard at it... in order to learn and get it off the ground... so that you can earn a living from it. The only thing which will earn you money on the Internet... is either having something to sell on Ebay... or sell something from your very own website. And it has to be something that people want to buy.

Well, I think the most difficult part is to find the things that you love to do. And even if you love to do something there is still a chance that you get bored one day.

Yes, I try to.. One time I would not do so, but I became so tired of putting things off. Now, I am more consistent in making sure I finish what I started.

When I start something new I am usually bursting with enthusiasm and sometimes that doesn't lat till the end. I do my best to finish things that I have started but often if requires a lot of effort to keep me as motivated towars the end.

the first think is to think about what exactly what you wish to accomplish. before you start a thing you have to know why you want to do this thing and what good will give you. i also usually start things and don't finish them but i try to not start to many things at the same time so that i could have more extra time to accomplish things

I often have urges to start things that seem interesting, but as things get harder/interest fades I tend to find myself less engaged in what I was doing.

i am a master of not finishing of what i started. often times i feel excited by the things i started only to get bored and moody toward the middle of the task. i dunno why.

Hi there! Oh yes. I try my best to finish everything I've started. I don't start several things at a time cause it gets difficult to finish everything so I only do things one at a time. I think in order for one to reach their goals in life or to finish things they have started you must be disciplined enough to do it. Having discipline is really had to achieve but its the only way to do things orderly. Ciao!

I try to finish the things I started so that I can start something new the next day but if I really can not, then I will stop and make it my priority for the next day. I plan on what to do a night before my duty, I make sure I finish bigger tasks and meet the deadline before dealing with the smaller ones. There are times when something happens the least you expected it and when you are so tired already and your mind already surrenders, then do not push yourself too hard. Stop and relax. Deal with it when your mind is fresh, and you will do a lot better. "Push yourself to the limit but when your system says stop, follow it"

I always try my best to finish the things i started so that i do not have to come back to that in the future. A good way is to plan your things before you start so that you will not have other problems in the midst of something.
