The Dalia lama is probably one of my favorite people in the world. He is the spiritual and political leader of the Tibetan people, but in 1959 he was driven into exile by the Chinese government. Religiously speaking, the chief responsibility of the Dalia lama is to help other people achieve spiritual enlightenment, and so go on to help even more people achieve this state of being. He doesn't have much political power now that he is living in exile, but he still does what he can to try and free Tibet from Chinese rule. There are fundraisers and many non-profit activities in which he participates to raise awareness for this cause. I don't think I've ever heard of anyone who is more at peace with himself, or more of just a NICE person. He's always smiling, always polite and I don't think he's ever spoken a harsh word in his life. Tibetan Buddhists believe that you should treat EVERY living being on this earth as you would your own mother, this includes insects, snakes and other creatures we perceive as gross and icky. They treat everyone and everything with kindness, I don't think I've ever heard of a greater, more selfless devotion, in my entire life.

In china,the monk of Tibetan Buddhism is called Lama.Dali is one of the top of Lama,like The Pope of Roma.These dali lama's really name is DAN ZENG JIA CUO.Before 1959,he is God and King in Tibetan.But he also is the spokesman for the slave holder of Tibetan.Chinese goverment abolished slavery in 1959.He and her slave holders staged a a military coup,but he failed.He was forced into exile to India.If he was King of Tibetan now,Tibetan will keep slavery.
