LOL. Don't worry. Can you see the red star besides my name there? Yes... You can see that it is now 92/100 right? That's correct. It was once 97/100 and I don't know how my reputation could went down that much LOL. The stars go up and down, and you don't have to be worried about that. When you make a good topics and a good response you would get it back in no time. Good luck and happy myLotting :)

juz thank mylot systems here that only your reputation and interest rankings have gone down and they havent touched your earnings or blocked you...be cautious the next time before doing things..as you have already realised that you had made a mistake so definately there would be some punishment of that...so dont feel bad about anything and learn from your experiences..

That is the thrill here. You think you have done your best to protect your rating but somehow somebody out there has nothing much better to do they would purposedly give you a negative rating and this directly affect the star rating. I have undergone so many times of this nasty game of yo-yo fluctuation of my rating that I keep numb about my star rating now. All I care is enjoying my presence here. If you are very conscious about the star rating it will demoralize you further. So the best option is to keep an eye close and just go on your business here. The good rating will eventually smile at you.

And I am surprised that this discussion didn't get deleted as it is against the mylot
rules to talk about our star and the rating system. I think. I have seen so many of
these kinds of discussions get deleted anyways,
But anyways, my star rating has gone down so much I don't pay much attention to it
anymoe. I used to have a 10 star with a 99/100 and now I am down to a 8 star with a
85/100 and it has stayed there for the last 6 months. I don't care anymore about it.
Alrighty then, talk to you later my friend,
Have a good mylotting day, Chris

that is a sad story right there and never have experience it since and never would like to. so it would be better to avoid bumping those discussions that violates the rules and from time to time read back the TOS, which i do in a few times already although not frequent (which shouldn't be) but at certain times. mine keeps on moving up and glad it works that way.

Mine went down recently too, and I was mildy devestated. I think the reason is that I was responding in the Politics section. In the Politics section, people are + ing and - ing everyone. If they disagree with your valid, well thought out post because their views are different, they try to lower your rating. So, just try to stay where your comments are more likely to be appreciated and do the best Mylotting you can!

Actually I don't care about the reputation very much. You know sometimes some people are very bad and they rate others' posts negative on purpose. On the contrary, I always rate it positive.

If there is one thing that I decided to be immune from it is to be bothered by anything at all. I try to be impervious to things like ratings and stuff like that. There was a time when my ratings dropped and it was disconcerting at first but it eventually went back up. I just try to do what I can as best as I can do it. Mylot is great!!!

hello, im giving you a positive ratting now just because you seem to be very determined to improve your ratings. I don't think you need to put too much effort on it though. Just keep posting positive things and you'll slowly get a better rating. I never really worried about mine and now it's usually a perfect 10. But when it slips down I don't mind it I just keep doing what I'm doing. :) Try adding more friends too that might help. :)

Hello,
Maybe it will be better if you familiarize yourself with those rules listed before posting any reply or discussion next time so you can spare yourself the agony. A good habit will be to check against the set of rules every time you are in doubt, it is the best way to make sure you are on the safe side rather than risk yourself to suffer such fate again.
All the best.

vinay, this happens to almost everybody on myLot. I wouldn't worry about those little coloured stars, they can be very annoying at times and I somtimes think that it would be better if myLot just removed them. Anyway, just keep posting and hopefully your rating will soon rise again. I will give you a plus to help you on your way.

This happens to us all now and then. Sometimes it's even a response that gets us deleted, rather than what we wrote. It can be fun to track the ratings, but it really isn't very meaningful. Maybe you need to read the rules again, as I do every few months, to make sure you're notmaking an error inadvertently.
Hang in there. MyLot's a wonderful place to be!

I am sorry to hear that your rating went down for the second time since you joined mylot yesterday, and I know what it feels like because I have had my own rating go down several times and I never knew why,all I know is I have always tried to follow the mylot rules and guidelines when I start discussions and respond to other peoples discussions, all I can say is keep working hard my friend and you should get your rating back up,and you have to always watch out for trolls because they like rating people negatively for no reason.

It sounds to me that it was more than likely due to the post that got deleted. It may just have taken longer for them to update the rank than it did to delete the post and change the earnings. I think they are more worried about making sure that you do not get paid for a post that was deleted before they worry about the rankings.
