Other faith beliefs that a baby shouldn't be baptized until she/he understand the word of God like Roman Catholic beliefs. It is the best way to teached him/her first about the holy scriptures. It is good that he/she will have the knowledge of understanding before she/he will decide as to what religion she/he would belong. Because a baby doesn't know anything when she/he grew up., she/he knew nothing about his/her religion, no choice for him/her but to accept because he/she was already baptized. How about you guys my lotters are you been baptized when you was an infant? Do you agree with this sacrament? what is your point of view about this?

But is there a supporting documents in the bible or verses saying that an infant is qualified for baptism? I will quote what have you said, "I think infant baptism is okay. "You can always change your religion/faith when you grow up you know" And how can we change our religion if our parents do not allow us. Most of the catholic parents don't allow their child to change their religion. And it is with the catholic teaching..saying outside the church there is no salvation so if a child get out from his/her religion she/he is not entitled of the said salvation.

I do believe in baptism as it is a part of the Catholic religion . I had all of my children baptized when they were little . It is our belief that a child is not accepted into Heaven with God , I am not sure I believe that because I would like to picture God as someone who is all forgiving . They say that God is our father and as a father , I would think his love for us would always accept us no matter what but didn't want to take the chance that I could be wrong and for this reason I had them all baptized . I will not be offended if when they are older they decide to change their religion but in the meantime it gives them a religion to call their own .
