I live in an apartment complex. It has been almost three years and I have yet to know my neighbors' name or much less talk to them. I have seen a few, said hi to them and how are yous. But after that, no more. I miss the time when I was young, when I was living with my parents and siblings, we knew our neighbors then. We even played with their children. Well, we didn't live in an apartment complex, it was a real neighborhood so that made a big difference. I guess, it's because most of the people in this apartment complex are too busy to notice neighbors. :(

Yes i have seen my neighbor but i have never talk to him, i work the night shift and when i come home i see him every once in a while walking to his car.

see, most of us are like that.....we just see them around, never having time to stop and get to know them....

Our building is split in tow, on our side there are 3 apartments total. I know our downstairs neighbor, and I know at least the guy who lives upstairs is really young - no clue who lives up there with him. On the other side, there are 4 apartments (one on the first, 2 on the 2nd, 2 on the third). I have met the guy who lives on the 1st floor, talk to the girls that live across from us, but have no clue who is in that apartment or who are in the two on the third floor.
