that you did not have any money. That happened to me today. My husband and I are going through a terrible financial crisis. I was going to my mother's this morning. There are two tolls we have to pay. The first toll was .70, there was .75 change in the car. When we got to the other toll which is .25, my husband checked his pockets and had no money. All we had was a .05. We had to ask the attendant for an envelope to mail in the quarter. Had we gone through the toll, it would have cost us $20.25.
Have this ever happened to you?

Wow those are low tolls. The ones around here are $3. I have done that before. Luckily there were alternate routes I could take.

That was the cost of tolls on one highway. We can pay up to $8.00, for a one way toll, and the turnpike depends on how far you go, will determine how much you pay.

This has never happened to me but I have worried about it. Once, I thought I was going to have to write a .25 check, but I managed to find enough change in my car. I'm glad to hear it worked out for you.
