twilight movie

hey! anyone there who know about the upcoming movie twilight based from the book by stephenie meyer? I'm excited about it! the lead actor is robert pattinson who played cedric diggory in the harry potter series. It's a story about a vampire and a mortal who falls in love with each other. the vampire them is faced with the challenge of keeping his love alive and safe from other bad vampires. it's really cute, and a lot of news had been made about it. how do you feel about it?

Is that who that is? Are you sure? He doesn't look like anyone I have ever seen in a harry pottery movie. I don't think the is a good choice at all for the role. He just doesn't fit what I - and a lot of people agree - think Edward looks like. I am trying ot not get excited about the movie. I think that the books were great, odds are - like almost all movies from books - the movie won't live up to peoples expectations.

To me he doesn't fit the "vampire" look to me either She made the character to like people you could know in real life, which I think is why they don't like Robert in the role.

Oh, it's kind of subjective, really. Let's just see how Robert plays the role. I still think his portrayal of Edward's crooked smile is appropriate.

True, true. I was really excited about the movie when I first read the books, now that I have been done for a few weeks (and have moved on to another series that is a bit more indepth) and seeing the cast and previews, I am not as excited about the movie.

the crooked smile definitely match robert's... stephenie's initial choice was actually henry cavill, an actor who played a role in count of monte cristo... that guy is a real head turner, more like a james bond to me, and he really is handsome... but he is 25 or 24 now, so he doesnt look like a 17yr old which is why he wasnt chosen for edward's role. stephenie was a bit dissapointed. other choices were orlando bloom, gerard way of MCRomance (he definitely matches a vampire's aura alright) and 1 more i forgot the name... i cant find any reason why kirsten was chosen as bella but i think she looks just fine.. she was also the first to be casted on the movie... i read the 1st and 4th book. i skipped the 2nd and 3rd.. sorry, cant contain my excitement... n_n you might want to go to the twilightthemovie.com for the trailer... another movie to anticipate this november 21! see yah!

I definitely love Rob's crooked smile. For me, it's so Edward. I saw that guy from one of the older casting of Twilight, and I should say he is also fit to be Edward. Orlando Bloom is definitely way beyond being Edward, not to mention that he is quite old for the role. I surprised me, though, that Gerard had been considered as Edward. No offense meant, but I think he is way off for Edward. But he does fit the vampire profile! I'm equally excited about the movie, too! I can't wait. I've seen almost every trailer available and I am really, terribly, truly excited and all! Thank you for posting!
