How did you and your boyfriend, fiance, husband, whoever it is, get together? How long (if at all) had you known that person before you started going out? What was your first date? How long have you been together?
My husband and I got together 3 years ago. I had liked him for about a year or so before we started going out, and he felt the same way about me. He left for bootcamp one summer and I sent him a picture that we took of the two of us at his going away party. We'd been friends for about a year. I wrote a little note on the back of the picture and had his sister (who I was friends with) send it to him. He wrote me a letter back (and sent it to her w/her letter). Well, we kept writing back and forth for the whole summer. Every couple of days I would wait anxiously for the mail to come and be super excited to get a letter, or really disappointed when I didn't. The letters started becoming more frequent and more flirty, and finally he asked me what I thought about going out with him when he came home. Of course, I wrote back that I would be thrilled to, and the day after he came home (a Sunday), we went out after church to Applebee's. After that, things progressed, and a year later we were engaged! :)

Love is a great feeling which has to be expressed. If you find it true, never fail to convey, thats a tribute to the love in real.

My partner and I met through my brother. We knew each other 2 years before we started going out. We didn't really have a "first date", but we spent almost every day together doing various things.(hehe) We've been dating for about three and a half years now and currently live together.

We met at a party. We talked all night long, and then a week later, we saw each other again at a different party. A couple of days after that, we went out for breakfast together, and we've been together ever since.

My husband and I got together when we were both in school . We knew each other our whole lives but didn't associate with one another until we were older . He asked me out every day for six months before I agreed to date him :) We have now been together for nineteen years and we got married eight years ago . He was sixteen when we got togehter and I was eighteen . I never pictured myself with someone like him when I was younger but they do say opposites attract :)

Well I met my partner in an online dating site. We communicated by email to get to know each other and then decided to meet and see if there was any chemistry to back up the meeting of minds.
That was nearly 5 years ago. We moved in together after about 4 months of dating and we have been together ever since. I was 48 and he was 60. 2 years ago we decided to move out of the city into the country and we also moved north into a warmer climate. Now we live in a lovely house in a peaceful country town.
It was the best decision I ever made. I was fairly sure before we met that I was in love with him because I loved the person who was writing to me but I also knew from experience that you have to meet the person to be sure. Our first meeting was wonderful and we have been very happy ever since.

Lets see I met my fiance because a mutual ex friend told me about her and told me I should message her on myspace,so I did and we started talking and then we met at the Wal Mart closest to her grandparents house,a week after that she basically asked me out because she hinted at me to ask her out because she knew I wanted to and she wanted to,and that day we met at Wal Mart for our first date, and ended up going to the small town where I live with a friend of mine, who I know now can not really be trusted,we have been together almost a year, and we are have planned to get married two days before our two year anniversary and I can not wait, because I love her and can not wait to spend the rest of my life with her.
