Okay so do you think children should be allowed to make their own mistakes or do you believe parents should decide everything for them???? i think children should be allowed to do things on their own and make those mistakes like i did. I learned from all my mistakes and had to pay the natural consequences for them. for instance I was in high school and my mom let me go to a party of course I said there would be no alcohol and of course she knew there would be, moms have that always knowing thing. Anyways I got drunk and had a hangover the next day, i had to tell her because my pants smelled like alcohol, I was so drunk I fell and spilled my beer. Well then I had my weekend yard work to do in the bright, hot sun. She wouldn't let me take the Tylenol although I'm not sure it would have worked. So I paid the natural consequence by suffering the hang over. so would you have let your child go knowing there would be alcohol or would you have said no?
