Today is September 20th and it was the day for our homecoming game and they were handing ot balloons to all the little children and some of them would let thiers go to watch them go in the air. And I told my husband that this was going to be my next question. Where do you think balloons go when children let them? I some times wonder if they just keep going up til they just disapper. Well if you have any ideas let me know please. Thank you.

They actually burst up when they reach a certain altitude. The pressure outside and the pressure inside the balloon has something to do with it. This is in Chemistry and Physics. I just forgot the real theory or concept behind it. All I know is that pressure is the reason why balloons burst up high in the skies.
Of course they could also be burst up when hit by an airplane or pecked by a flying bird. LOL
