time you spent on mylot? I stayed on Mylot overnight one night. I made over a dollar, but I was on all night. I hadn't intended to do that, but the discussions were interesting, I had a lot of friends with neat topics. We have cheaper power at night and I didn't have any work not only the next day, but for many days. So somewhere around 6 to 10 hours. I also tried a discussion from every interest. After 30 interests, I had to quit trying one from every interest. I didn't realize I had so many. I also was a long way from payout and really needed to make it for the next month.
So why did you spend more time than you originally thought you would spend on mylot? What did you do or which activities did you participate in? Like did you do discussions or blog? Did you put picture on your profile or a friends? Did you add friends, delete friends, or answer discussions/blogs from friends or maybe do some things I haven't even listed here? Thanks and take care.

The other day I actually spent way more time on here than I had origionally intended. I was only going to be on for 3 hours origionally. But realized that I had nothing to do and started looking some papers of mine that reminded me of more discussions, so I just had to type them up. lol. By the time that I had finished on here it was 6 am.
I was looking over so many discussions and found so much that was interesting that it kept catching my eye, so I had to respond, or add as a friend, or just something. that day I had spent 8 hours on mylot. I could not believe the time when I finally went to sleep. Then at 9 am my kids come in the room and pounce on the bed lol. Yea next time i'll watch time a little more closely lol. But it was a lot of fun. Great discussion.

Glad you like the discussion. I would have been really dragging with that little amount of sleep. Hope you've caught up on your sleep and get more sleep in before the kids get up from now on. Thanks and take care.

Probably the most time I've spent in one day on MyLot is 5 hours. And I just wasn't watching the time and had the whole day off and my husband wasn't home. I didn't actually earn all that much--less than $1.50 if I remember right.
I've not ever done a blog but would like to try it sometime. I've only put 3 pictures on myLot and I don't remember why or how I did that. Isn't that silly? It must be pretty simple or else I couldn't have figured that out.
I often stay on myLot longer than I intend. I try to set a limit of 1 1/2 hours, but, before I know it, I've been on here 2 hours (like now!).

It is so easy to run into over time with Mylot, isn't it? Even when I set limits, I often go over them. But last night I needed to catch up from time lost to my computer getting fixed. Take care and thanks.

You depend on it for grocery money? If I did, I would starve. I hope you get enough money for groceries. Thanks and take care.

Last night I was supposed to come off at 11 and I ended up staying until close to 1 in the morning lol. I was just responding to discussions. Last weekend I had work to do for school (reading) and I ended up staying on here all day lol responding to discussions. This site is addicting and there are so many interesting topics that are on here. I really wish I registered this summer when I didn't have anything to do. I could have responded to a lot of topics. It's funny because I came across the site before but I didn't register then and now I regret not registering sooner.

The last sentence, same with me. I hope you catch up with your school reading and don't let this get so addicting that you have trouble with school. Thank you and take care

The longest time I spent on myLot was all day and part of the evening. It was hours and hours. I made a little over a dollar so that was good but quite honestly, it wasn't worth it. Computer chair is not that comfy and I have a bad back. I like to read and answer discussions. Have never been to the blog area. I add friends when requested and once in awhile I do request a friend to be on my list. As it is, I can't get caught up with all my email notifications. I always feel bad about that but there just isn't enough time. Seems like I answer 5 and get 15 in return. AOL will let me keep 1,000 emails in my inbox at a time. I am pushing 400 again. As it gets closer to 1,000, will have to delete some discussions.

You're welcome. You didn't have to thank me for all of the ones I gave you best response for. Just thanks on one for all of the ones I gave you is fine. Plus the latest Mylot rules have some crazy thing about accessive or only thanking replies. Take care, and you're welcome.

Yes, it's hardto keep up if you activate all of your friends at one time. Some people rotate.
All day and part of an evening, WoW! No wonder your back hurt, even a good back would have had at least a stiffening up effect. Thanks and take care.

Hello writersedge!
I couldn't recall what was the longest time I ever have spent here on myLot. I never really stayed here on myLot overnight. What I can remember is that there were times before when I would log-in early in the morning and would log out around after lunch. Not that I spent that much time here but that is because I do other things in between. The time I spend here depends on how much time I have to spare for myLot. But yes, there were times in the past wherein I would tell myself, "Okay, just one hour..." But later on, I would realize I have spent more than that. Well, time flies when you are having fun!
"I would rather be ashes than dust! I would rather that my spark would burn out in a brilliant blaze than it should be stifled by dry rot. I would rather be a superb meteor, every atom of me in magnificent glow, than a sleepy and permanent planet. The proper function of man is to live, not to exist. I shall not waste my days in trying to prolong them. I shall use my time." (Jack London)

Yes, an hour can slip into more time easily. I've said just two hours and ended up with 4 easily. Double the amount of time you think you will be here is quite easy to do. Thanks and take care.

Hi,dear friend,
For me there are several times when I wanted to stay here for only one hour but after seen the time it spent much more than I have originally intended..When I am at home I can stay here as long as I can ,however, when I am in school I have to pay attention to the time since I have a lot of other things to do ..When I start to response the discussions ,firstly,I will choose the discussions from my friends rather than from my interest...Every time I am busy with response these discussion ao that I don't have that much time to see the blogs or something else from the mylot..After this I will see some news which happened during the whole week.....
All my best regards ..;-)
Molly

I have stayed overnight on mylot a few times, and I think i've done a lot. Mostly though I was responding to discussion, but besides mylot I was doing a few other sites so my what I did do on here was not as much as it could have been if I had devoted it all to mylot.

I haven't switched from site to site like that. I have switched from mylotting to doing laundry or doing the dishes though. Thanks and take care.

I just find that during the day, when my husband is home, he's in the way or the cat is in the way. If I can wait for everyone to be gone or out of the way, it's easier to get things done.

Sometimes when the house is finally quiet, that is the best time do the chores! You won't be bothered, and they get done quicker! I don't do many chores myself, never been asked to here but if I were to be, you'd be sure I'd do them at night! I am a night owl!

The time I spend here depends on the day, I spend fewer hours here on weekdays and more hours on weekends.
Yeah I agree that there are times when I spend more time here than I imagined. Maybe because of the interesting discussions. There are times when I create discussions if I have a question or I want to talk about something.
