Is anyone here writing or plan to write a book based on their own life?

Does anyone have any interesting stories or events or characters or all the above and are planning or in process of writing a book about themselves, maybe put a different spin on it or something? I'm writing one, I actually planned it as a cable TV show, but thought it'd be easier as a book first, just to gain some type of following beforehand.
