I don't know whether this issue has already been discuss, even if so lets start it over again..... denominations like Catholics, Baptism, 7 day Adventist & many others are there in our Christian society. Why is there so many sub-division even after they are collectively call Christian and at the same time if they have a different doctrines or ideologies, what is the thing that binds them together ?
It seems confusing & contrasting.
So pals plis share your views & opinions.

It all comes down to interpretations zatak. Mankind throughout history has chosen to branch off into many different factions with not just Christianity but other religions as well. The fundamentals of Christianity tend to stay somewhat similar for many of these spin-offs but again they choose to accept and practice different representations of similar ideals. What binds them all together though is still Jesus for Christians! Catholics also focus heavily on the Virgin Mother in parallel; Jehovah's Witnesses choose to refer to God as Jehovah and so forth. What is sad is that even though they all share similar ideologies they still clash rather than band together and express tolerance for each other in some cases.
