hi friends . we all have friends and at times lot of them.
but one of them is most dear to us.we share all things with him/her and enjoy our time together.
imagine if the dear friend goes away for some period to a distant place how we are going to feel?
what are the things we are going to miss out?
and whether we will look for the substitute or wait for him/her for sharing our secrets till such time that he/she returns?

yes,, i am feeling sad, because my dearest and childhood friend is away from me. he is in Indian army,,
but now a days there are so many facilities are there,, we can communicate to each other we can share our feelings through different type of mode, like , mobile, internet and other things..
but when we don't have these all things we write some letters to each other.
but in any condition and circumstances he will always my dearest friend...

yes,, letters are more close to our heart.. mobile and internet definitely made the distances shorter,, and world became smaller, but it made a difference in our heart and emotions..... i really very miss Letters..

of course the letter writing has become obsolete!!
and you miss the thrill of waiting for reply to what you have sent!!

yes dear karmendra these days are really different , we can communicate but just as i mentioned i went to bangalore from delhi in 1979!!
hardly any communication un those days!!
we used to write letters which were more or less like newspapers!!

Hi Kushank...
Well, if he is such a close friend, of course we would miss every time that could be spent with that person, or we would spend our time in the memories. But if the friend is caring enough, he will surely make some way that you don't waste all the time missing or remembering him/her, and you being gloomy. If you have seen the movie ..Dosti.
Ofcourse, its gonna be difficult since there will not be anyone to share the deepest secreats, however, the best way IMO is to start reading books... its the best way to get into a new world till the time friend comes! Really, its waste of time to sit in front of TV or in front of the PHotos of the friends whole day and be gloomy!
Anyways, keep mylotting!

yes dear amagnimo it happened with me , when i went to a place for my job , around 3000+ kms. from my place.
totally different with people speaking difft. language and with different food habits and vulture. i didnt have any one near me, not even a family member and i had to start a new life!!
with whom to share your thoughts and opinions and daily experiences!!
and it was 30 years ago with not so common call facilities of today and no internet!!

unforgettable moments!!
well since the times are different now i am sure the story will not be repeated.
i may have to undergo newer experiences if it is repeated now!!

I have two best friends,one is my fiance who can always make me feel better and always knows how to make me smile,I love her,and if I am away from her for a few minutes I get sad and miss her,and I can not wait until we are husband and wife,my other best friend is a guy I met in school,who I consider my brother,we have the same birthday which is one of the reasons we became best friends,and if he went away I would wait for him to come back,and I would probably miss talking to him and having him come over to play Halo 3 with me.

I have a very close friend that lives in our country.When i moved here in the US i really miss her.I missed our fun and talk together.We lived in one roof and we treated each other like a sister.For now, i never have anyone that replace her.She's always been my best friend.

as I read your discussion I remember my Dear and best friend. actually as of the moment we are in a distant place. we seldom see each other. because we have our own family now. and I surely miss her so much. but everytime we have a get together, we just spend that time talking and talking, giving different updates in our lives, sharing secrets. wow. i miss those times
