I heard the name of the club but haven't seen them playing even once, whats their performance in Serie A

i am not but a fan of liverpool but i remembered watching them in the 80s when diego maradona was playing for them and younger g.zola if i am not wrong. maradona singlehandedly won them the title and created an upset. they recently return to serie A after spending some time in serie B. i believed they were demoted to 1c or something like that. am i right?
