Mother fighting for Custody

I left my mentally abusive husband and am now fighting for custody. Most emotionally abusive men play as the victim as he is doing and they are usually the ones that get custody. Has anyone been in this situation that could help me out with this. I have to protect this little girl. Please help

Does anyone outside your family know of this.. i mean if you can get your neighbors or someone else to testify against him and get him to take a psychiatric evaluation that should do the trick..

That's a good idea, all she need is a witness to testify and psychiatric evaluation then she win the child custudy. Happy myloting.

in that case you will have to try something out of ordinary.. what about renting a private detective to collect some kind of proof that he is acting the victim..or try a direct confrontation with him and provoke him..tape the whole conversation and in the fury he might spit something out that will make your case.. these are some random ideas but i don't know whether it is an admissible proof in a court of law..

Is there any way you could insist on a mental evaluation by a licensed practitioner? Or perhaps your attorney could. Seems like a judge would go with that if it was for the safety of the child.

Ok, this type of abuser will test normal.It is one that keeps you away from friends and family and controls every aspect of your life. Outside of the home he is a pillar of society loved by all. This man was actually the high school football and wrestiling coach, head teller at the bank for years for for the city for over 13 years and even worked for the state as workforce specialist and only had a GED. Evaluations will not work. but thanx
