Defining Success

This may sound corny, but my marching band's motto is about this. Even though it's not really a "motto". Oh well. Here it is: "Success is determined by: Discipline, Citizenship, Dedication, Focus and Unity" We have a stripe on our uniform representing each one of those.

My success lies within my family, my children- I have a beautiful home, a great job, new car, etc... But at the end of the day a game of Candy Land with the family is probably the best I feel. To see my boys learn something new and get- you know to experience that "light bulb" moment. Success for me is tied to those you love and those that love you. Is there anything greater in this world that the love of another- Now that's success.

Success for most of us involves goal setting, hard work, perseverence and successful pay offs.It is a time tested sure formula.But if you look around you will find that different people following the exact same formula achieve different results.that is because each of us is born with a different set of tools t o begin with.we need to define our objectives in keeping with those tools. Define your goals around your natural strengths.you will not only enjoy the journey, but because of the ease with which you will accomplish things along the way success will come to you as naturally as bees to honey.To discover what you really want to do with your life is the key to success.What you believe is possible creates potential,potential enables action.Action produces results.All the very best to you.

For me success is reaching your dreams after all the hardships you had been through in life without using another person. If despite of doing your best, you still fail to have what you longed for, i still consider it success because I learned a lot along the way of striving for my dreams, I learned how to endure, I learned how to believe in myself and I learned how to have faith in God, that no matter what I do if God will not give what I want, He is planning something big for me, and that would be better than what I wanted for myself. for me, i define success as being content and satisfied with what you have. having a good relationship with your spouse, your family and your friends and loved ones. success is achieving your goal without compromising your values and principles. not wronging anyone just to get to the top.
