Imbalance in mental and emotional welbeing is reflected in increased stress and anxiety, resulting in onset of several critical diseases. It is essential to stay balanced and positive,in the midst of all situations when you feel down and lose interest in all usal activities. Most of the motional disorder and depression are caused by our reaction/response to the event of big losses/failure,disappointments,loneliness,brek down of relationship or financial crisis. Areyou emotionally well balanced? If not, what does affect most to your emotionally welbeing? What are doing to regain and improve your emotional health?

OOOOHhh Narayan really great discussion to start with ... I like the reasons you gave for emotional disbalance.... Infact we need to understand that life is a struggle to excel......and it keeps changing ... We get disbalanced because we deny to change with world and life and we get stubborn we need to adopt to changes.....to ensure we remain stable ....... Thanks for your response and such a nice information... Happy Mylotting Take Care Ganesh

Try not to get emotional at every problem you face in life. By crying everytime, you cannot overcome the problem. You have to face it strongly and thus searching for its cure

i think all of us at various times are emotionally unbalanced but we work thorouh it the best we can. my dad was buried fri. & of course i'm upset about that. i lost my mother in jan. of this year. it's rough but i am a survivor & i will be o.k. there's no shame in being unstable at times as so many people think. as soom as you can admit you have a problem the sooner you'll work it out.it's sure not good to keep it all inside of you.

Thanks for nicely responding and sharing your viewpoints and experiences.I do greatly appreciate your approach in dealing with the hard realities and problems of life.It is important to stay positive and to have strong faith on your inner strength and God.There will always be some people somewhere on this earth to share your emotional burden,to remain emotionally closer to you,no matter how remotely they live. Wish you the best of life and happiness.

Hi Narayan, it is easier said than done. We are living in a high-stress society; nd we have pressure almost everywhere - work, family, personal. I often find that it helps to be able to de-stress or off-load pressures. There must be things that we enjoy, or lose ourselves in our interests or hobbies at least for a while, to let our minds rest. I used to have get-togethers with friends after work; we would talk and laugh - it helped to relieve our tensions. Now I would lose myself in my books, watching TV, spending time with my family or go online. After this break, I can go back to whatever work issues / problems and look at them again with a rested mind!
