attack on PTC sites

hello there my lotters hoping to click ads on a PTC site, others wonder (like me), that we are unable to connect in a PTC site, it says Page Load Error, Failed to connect, or can't establish a connection to the server, or whatever, others says they've been attack by ddos? I'm wondering what's that ddos attack anyway? although its not a scam site but they are attacked by that ddos? anybody of you here knows what ddos are? and why are they attacking them? please let me know because almost all of my PTC sites are experiencing ddos attack right now. thanks
