friends and neighbors

I live in a quiet neighborhood in the suburbs, where folks are quite friendly and kids play ball during weekends. However, yesterday early morning, our neighbor from the house across the street banged on our gate and demanded that we move our car from the driveway so he can easily maneuver his own car from his garage to the street. He vented steam upon my poor sister who came out to see what the old man was angry about very early in the morning. We were shocked at the way the old man acted, very unlike his usual quiet ways. After the car was moved, the old man got on his car and drove off without a word. My sister, clearly harassed, was so furious with the way she was treated by the old neighbor that she vowed never to greet, or talk with him again. All of us at home felt bad about it because this neighbor showed his true colors and didn't even apologize for his tirade.
