Will LHC create mini black holes?

A great expt. is being carried out in geneva named LHC - "Large Hadron Collider".
What do u think that will it harm in any way o any part of the world?

Actually it`s been deactivated for 2 months because of they have dificulties keeping the temperature below absolute 0 so the first scheduled colision between the atoms on october 21 is delayed until they find a solution. It`s highly unlikely they create any black holes since they are only accelerating the hadrons to 99.99 % the speed of light so no dangerous side effects will emerge.

Not at all, that was a big misunderstanding created by the media and other people. We don´t have that kind of technology to create any kind of black hole. Anyway no matter how much you try to explain this out you´ll never stop the crazies from making up storyes and other things to frighten people.
