Hi everyone.
Will you people watch the movie directly from the CD/DVD or will copy that to your system before watching???
I have heard that watching directly from the Cd is not good. The CD gets scratches it seems. Is that true??? Will you copy the film in your system before watching??

I think the same as you because I don't like to waste my computer storage to put the file inside my computer.I think it is OK to play a movie by CD/DVD directly.

Okay then but for me I don't like to copy it first as I think I'll watching it for once and it is OK if we play it and not doing fast forward and rewind the CD/DVD for many times. If we play it like a normal I think the CD/DVD will never scratched.

It is true that CD/DVD will get scratches if you use it very often especially if you "fast forward" it while watching. If you have an external hard drive with huge space PC then it will be much more advisable for you to store it there rather than watching it from the CD/DVD.
If you have a high quality DVD player then I don't think it will be a problem just don't forward or jump into screen a lot because the unit will be forced to scan the disc at a faster rate making it more susceptible to damage.

Ya you are right. When we fast forward only it will cause major damage. Happy to have your response. Happy mylotting.

hi vidhya,
friend i like your discussion very much.you will ask a nice question. i don't like copy the movie into the system because it will take time in loading as well as it will too much storage and if the files of cd or movie contains virus,it will become serious problem for the pc.so, i will try to play directly from the cd .i hav e don;t care of cd .because its not too costly.its easy to buy.so, i prefer direct method.
happy mylotting

Hi Yadav.
I just wonder why you are just adding comments and not responding to the discussion. Lol. How will you identify your response and give back the comment for the response that I give???
Anyway coming to the topic. I do agree with you. PC is costly. We have to give our first preference to that only. But there are some CDs that are rare to get. In that case we can just take care of the CD also. Lol.
Happy to have your response. Happy mylotting.

hi, i prefer to get dvd instead of cd. moreover i won't copy it to the computer and all, i just watch it either in the player or in the system itself. even if it is going to get scratched and all i don't mind getting another dvd or downloading it from the net. happy mylotting!

Yes I think DVD is more quality than CD and the contents is more bigger than CD.Usually the movie space need two CD but for DVD it can be more than one movie can be insert in it.So,it is easy to use DVD than CD because we can play it directly until it finished without change the another DVD.So, for more convenience I think it is much easier is buy DVD and play it directly rather than copying it to PC.

yes now a days most of the cd's are being burnt and it gets spoiled fast.DVD'S are good.I generally dont buy duplicate cd's as I know either the cd would get spoiled or half of the movie would not turn out well. The clarity of the picture also will not be good. Its better to wait for sometime rather than watching something which is of no use.

I think DVD is more quality than CD and it really hard to get scratch. For me, I'll play CD/DVD directly as it is much easier to me and I don't waste my time to waiting for copying the CD and also waste my storage for content in the CD to store it in my PC.

The CD or DVD is always expected to get scratches from long use. Yes, it is a good idea to probably copy it to your computer first. Since it takes less time of disc reading to copy it. Then when the movie is in your computer you can watch that as many times as you want. Cheers!!!

Usually if it is from CD/DVD I'll play it directly in CD/DVD because I don't like to waste my computer space for store the file.Sometimes if it is too heavy and hard to load directly by CD/DVD I'll copy them first to my computer and after finish watch the movie I'll erase the file to get back the space of storage of my computer.
