It's now the middle of the school year for high school students and most of them are already taking entrance exams from colleges and universities. I'm just wondering what is the most picked course today? Is it still nursing? I.T.? Care giving? if you are a high school student, what do you want to pick? and for what reason?

These days nursing course is the most popular course of Filipino/Filipina.
Because of the big demand for the nurses abroad.
But I think IT and culinary are also a good choice because that is also in demand in local and abroad jobs..
Happy mylotting..

lots of courses are in demand particularly those with high "going abroad" potential if you know what I mean.
but yes, I think Nursing still tops them all...

I think, for popularity, it's still Nursing. But if I am in the place of high school student, i can choose Computer Engineering, because of the versatility. There you can go for both industry and i.t, both hardware and software. That course is not that easy though. I would suggest that if you are really into computers. But if not, you have to know what you want right at this time. And the most important thing is to follow your heart about the course that you want. Because, you will not enjoy a course that's just taken half-heartedly.

I think the most popular courses now are nursing, I.T related course, Hotel and Restaurant Management and Culinary Arts. There are still a lot of opportunities abroad for nursing graduates. The pay for I.T graduates is still really high. HRM graduates can usually easily land a good job here or abroad. Culinary Arts graduates can pay off their tuition after just one year of getting hired. Usually, courses that lead to high paying careers and have lots of opportunities abroad are the most popular.
