What line of work does everybody out there do and is it really what you planned on doing? If your like me i went to school to be a computer tech and in the long run i ended up doing mainframe computer work that has nothing to do with my degree but has landed me this job so i'm happy. Has anyone else gotten a really great degree and then ended up with a better job or worse job than expected? So is life i guess.

Its hard to give a job title for what i do because the change it on a monthly basis, but i can explain what i do. I take care of people with disabilities. Right now i take care of my younger bro who has down syndrome and autism. I have worked with others with disabilities, helping them out with whatever they needed to make there life easier. It is sort of what i wanted to do with my life. I had went to school to be a Special Education teacher, but i never finished college. Although my job is in jeopardy because of stupid state officials, i can't imagine doing anything else.

I never got a degree, I was one of those people that could never figure out what I wanted to do with my life career wise. I currently work in customer service, which I have done for many years now. I am not really happy with it, and am looking into going back to school to get a degree or the education to change my situation. I know that things can only go up for me if I keep trying.

I am currently a software developer. I guess that's what I was expecting to become when I entered college. I actually wanted to become a game developer but I lost interest in that while I was in college. Now, I'm pretty happy with my job.
