My way of identifying SCAM...What are yours?

Well after getting scammed by many sites i have decided not to join unless i am sure they are a paying site or have a very low payout. But there are other sites that are scams and also for many days in the business. But only forget to pay their members. Now before i join any site i check 3 tings of that site. Those are: 1. Pay rate/Click 2. Referral click 3. Advertising rate Well from the first two i can know that how much the ptc sites are paying to each click. From advertising rate i can know that how much they are charging to their advertisers for each click package. For example: If the click rate is $0.0, Ref click is $0.005 so they are paying $0.015 each click. And now if they charge the advertisers $10 for 1000 clicks then it is a scam in my opinion. Because for 1,000 clicks the site has to pay 1,000*$0.015= $15 to their members. How are they going to pay extra $5 to their members. So they are not going to pay their members. So do you have any way of identifying scams? What is it?

I always look at the forums first(if they have a forum). If it seems to be active and there are no overwhelmingly bad comments about the site, then I might consider using the site. But that doesn't mean i'll actually use it, sometimes I don't use a site just by looking at its layout.

Yes all sites are not worth joining. Sometimes it is better to skip some sites.

I identify scams by researching the site first off to find out if anyone else has been paid by the site in question, or if there are known issues with it. Also, if the earnings that the site mentions sound too good to be true, then I usually stay away from it. Keep an eye out for spelling errors and typos because that is another indication that a site has just been thrown up quickly in the effort to make some fast cash, and then disappear all together.

I think anything is possible these days and I think skepticism is sometimes that will stop and paralyze you from trying different things and to be open, but honestly to me a SCAM is "PAY MONEY and EVERYTHING IS DONE FOR YOU" that to me is a SCAM. It makes sense you always have to work or put a little money and time into something that makes you money. NOthing in life is free. Or at least completely free.

I have seen many new sites turned in to scams. I was a member on all of those. So just stopping joining new sites for now. Lets see what they bring next.

I'm so sorry for coming in so late. Yes that is a good way to find out a scam. However, I've become further strict and join only those site which, either have been recommended by some friend or have proven payment record.

I always look at the minimum payouts. Those that are over $30 I usually ignore, as they know that it will take users a very long time to get up to that kind of money on their site. Secondly, I look at referral prices. Some charge $5 for 20 referrals. And I know that they can't afford to do that, so there has to be something wrong there! Also some, but not all, of the sites which take months to pay their users properly aren't worth being on.

you are right. At first reach payout & then wait long to get paid. This is just not good.

Hi, I have identified one Traffic Exchange which is not familiar to most of the users, this TE pays as quick as possible compare to anyother TE also we can earn cash easily than anyother TE. So, don't search for genuine TE, Visit my blog for more info, http://www.dhaarvi.blogspot.com
