That is correct. Some people say that they have been to the university of life because it teaches so much. I think that whilst studying people have to soak up all the knowledge and remember it until after the exams. If a mother says "don't do that" maybe her girl will have to learn that for herself. We learn in life as we get older and are shaped by our experiences.

An experience from the past is good reference. An experience makes one wiser in the future acts. I believe that studies is just one way to gain experience as a part of one life it self. So studies teach and then test is not always true. In order to gain a professor degree, one should find an innovative way to solve a real life problems, so I can't agree with that quotes.
