I think I'm still longing for my Ex

I have a girlfriend and I'm having a problem with her attitude. There are times when we argue because of the things that I don't want her to do or place that I don't want to go. And every time it happens I feel that I still want my Ex. I spend a lot of time with my Ex during our relationship unlike now with my present we get to see each other once or twice a month. We mostly communicate through text or call. And right now we had an argument about a birthday party which will be held in a bar. She and her co-workers will celebrate a birthday one of their co-employee. I don't want her to go because her co-workers are drinkers and I don't want her to be with them. I will only allow her to go if I'm with her but she insist that she doesn't want me to come to that celebration. I'm missing my Ex right now while I'm writing this. Too bad that my Ex is in the US right now. I don't what am I feeling right now. My head is going to explode as I think of a reason why my present doesn't want me to go to that party with her. I asked her why she wont let me go with her she only said she doesn't want to. My Ex follows me in almost everything that I want maybe that's the reason why I'm longing for her every time I and my present girlfriend is having an argument or problem with our relationship.
