The Golden Rule!..........

Do you think that you should treat others the way you want to be treated? Do you think that it will pay off later? If you think about it, its really a broad statement. Treat others the way you want to be treated....there are many interpretations of this question. For instance, I once read this website that had some guidelines for following The Golden Rule...such as; practice empathy, practice compassion, be friendly, be helpful...just to name a few. I believe that The Golden Rule should be interpretted as simply as is it stated. I believe that you should do to other people what you would expect them to do to you in the same situation. I do believe it effects us in the long run because it is God's rule. If you want people to be polite to you, you must be polite, if you want someone to help you in a time of need, help someone else.
