I have a 2 1/2 year old boxer that has major gas. I've read up on websites about boxer pups having gas all the time because it's just the way they digest things gives them major gas. But i never thought it'd be the type to clear a room! Does anyone else have boxers out there that have major gas that is just ludicrous, tell me your boxer stories as well i love that mutt.

I don't have a boxer, but that is absolutely hilarious! :-) I had to laugh when i saw your post. I had a dog once who'd rip a silent one every once in a while when we were all sitting on the couch (including the dog). He'd kind of slink off the couch without any of us noticing and a minute later when we realized what he'd done, he'd look at us like "it wasn't me!".

i have a lab/boxer and omg you are right in clearing a room!! i ended up changing her food and then i figured out she was getting into the cat litter box.. now that i make sure she doesnt get in there or get in there often and changed her food she doesnt have it much.. we tried those stupid doggy anti gas crap and it was a waste!! although my dog liked eating it it didnt help at all!! we had her on purina switched she loved but switched her to alpo.. she doesnt eat as much as she used to but she is at healthy weight.. at least its more of a hear and not smell.. god my best friend had house sat and the dog about killed her..

I don't have a boxer but I do have a dog that can kill a horse at 50 paces with her gas. I figured out what was making her so horrid smelling; beef! Any time I fed her a dog food containing beef, it wreaked havoc on her tummy. I stick to chicken and turkey now. Maybe try changing his diet?
