What are Some Simple Drills I Could Do At Home To Improve My Defense

Squats, and the "Z" drill. You get into a defencive stance: squat, one arm down to steal, one arm blocking the passing lane, and then you go in a "Z" formation. We had to do it for basketball (HS, Varsity) and it was a pain in the @$$. Good rewards though.

Yeah these are great. I have been working hard and i think i have gotten alot better.

I was watching a self defence instructor on TV a few years ago and he said the best defence one can have is carry a small photo film cannister as we were used to before digital cameras, fill it up with ordinary household pepper..this mans daughters have been trained in self defence but they all carry one of these cannisters, if danger comes your way you just have to flip the lid and throw the pepper in an attackers face, doesn't do much harm but stops them in their tracks..

Try watching youtube. It got tons of drills to show.
