averages?

anyone into competitive bowling? I love to bowl both competitively, and non... so just curious, what are your averages? please be honest... i'd like to get an actual estimate on how good the rest of the world is. lol... i know in my area, there are quite a few good bowlers. our school team is quite competitive. the boys side everyone, even JV, has 200+ averages. varsity is usually 230+.... on the girls side, we had all with 175+ averages on varsity last year, and 150+ on JV. does anyone else have a high school, or college they bowl for?

I was in competitive bowling for almost 20 years. I've had to stop the last year or so because of work obligations and my son's school activities. After he graduates, I plan to get back into it. I carried a 198 average two years ago and 188 last year before I quit. I shot my best series of 762 just a few weeks before I quit. Guess I went out on top.
