Well folks, Summer is over and Autumn is officially here. This Summer, for those of us who live in some parts of Eastern Canada, saw more rain than usual. Hopefully Autumn will be better and there will be no snow until at least December. Has your Summer been like other years or did you see a difference this year? Are you looking forward to Autumn?

Last year we skipped autumn and spring entirely here in Ohio. This year we skipped spring again, and it looks like we might be skipping autumn again too...as far as seasons being defined by the weather anyway.
It's still warm enough to be summer here, albeit it feels like early summer now. No more ninety degree weather, mid-seventies to eighties still.
Autumn's my favorite season though, so I'm getting to miss it. According to the farmer's almanac we'll be getting snow by time Thanksgiving here (that's around mid to late November).

It seems to be a real change, I've tried looking to see if it's happened before...especially like in this state's earlier history and all but I haven't found much of anything. Not even people going, "My goodness, no spring this year" or anything.
Mind you, Ohio is known for it's crazy and somewhat quickly changing weather...but it's a little disconcerting to think this might be a new pattern for this area.

Though summer is my favorite season, I am always looking forward to change and that does include Autumn. As for the rain, you can send some down here in Ohio, like last summer, it has been too dry..

Oh yes, please take some of this sunshine in exchange for some rain..
I say this because I am caring for small hemlock hedges that need lots of water and the lake is getting too low from lack of rain to easily access it, so now we are paying to water through the hose..All I need is 2-3 days a week of good rain to keep them from drying out..

hi, I am in dalian city of China, this moment the air temperature is higher than last year. I hope the air of autumn this year will be cool, I like autumn day with cool wind but not cold, and the leaves lie on the ground also make me happy.
