I haven't "really" cried in a very long time. it takes a lot to make me cry and a lot of times i won't let myself cry. i hate crying! so i suck it up... but i did almost cry the other day when i was writing my parents a latter telling them how i felt about them. other then that.. i think the last time was probably over 1-2 years ago.

I am pretty good at holding in the tears as well but if I watch a sad movie or a good love story I'll cry sometimes. It just depends on how involved I get with the story line.
Thanks for the post.

I'm sorry to hear that you are unhappy living at home with your mother. Will you be moving out soon? What seems to be the problem?

I want to move out ASAP,but i need to get a job first so i can afford it. Me and my fiance want to get our own place. me and my mom has always had problems but now they got worse now that she had her boyfriend move in. He was raised by a military father so he has very diffrent views. And my mom now treats me like a child.

I can see how that could cause you to cry. I hope everything works out for you though.

I cried just the other day because i remembered my ex boyfriend. We broke up two months ago after three years together because he had another girl pregnant. Just thinking of the betrayal makes me cry. The pain hasnt gone away so every time i think about it or something reminds me of it, i cry easily. It's great therapy for me because afterwards i feel good. It feels like a heavy weight has been lifted off my shoulders.

Oh my, I remember those days. I think I was crying up to about six months after we broke up. It was tragic to say the least. However, you are right. After I cried I felt so much better. It's like it was a release or something. I hope everything works out for you though.

Interesting question - because last December a friend of mine had asked me that same question - and at the time, I really couldn't remember the last time I had cried.
Came January 9th - my dog had passed away - and I didn't stop crying for weeks... I still cry when I think of him - and his ever so sudden illness...
I don't know if it's good or bad to go a long time without a good cry - only that when a powerful event, either happy or sad touches you - tears are likely to flow.

That's true. It is good to cry but I still can't remember the last time I did cry. I know sad movies or romantic movies get me teary eyed but I don't consider that crying per say because I dropped a tear or two.
I'm sorry about your dog though. Thanks for the post.

Last time i cryed was yesterday because of one song in Scrubs (season 2, menu music), the one i cryed night before too. Im such a crybaby. When my pipes are broken, except flood ;)
Seriusly, everything can tick me off. Im way too emotional, which probably isnt very good- for me and others around me.

That sounds like my sister. She can cry at the drop of a dime, especially if something is emotional (good, bad, doesn't matter). Especially if there is a good movie on that is moving, she cries every time. When she comes over I contemplate blocking out the Lifetime channel because those movies are tear-jerkers waiting to happen.
