Do You Think Mylot Should Allow TO Edit Discussion ?

I agree. There are times when I want to go back and add a point to my discussion or sometimes I'll see a misspelled word (that drives me crazy as well). I suppose that's why they let you preview it before you post it.

I don't think so! Because, if we edit discussions, then the corresponding responses to those discussions will be carrying no meaning with respect to them! And this will create many problems afterwards. Thanks for this nice topic!

Yes this has been a long wished that has not been granted by Mylot for reason I really do not know. I hope mylot would issue an explanation as to why they do not allow editing of the posted discussion. I also do not know if Mylot has answered this issue as I have read similar post like this one but I think they have remained unanswered by Mylot why they do not allow editing.

Very often after starting a discussion I think of adding a couple of lines more. Then I wish there was an edit option. Very often we see our spelling mistakes only after we press the submit button. So I too wish there was an edit button.

I think Mylot must allow us to delete unwanted post frm our discussion but not to edit other's posts. Just to delete post which is abusive or does not relate to a particular discussion.

i think that is a great idea. you know they have preveiw post but i don't know if you can go back in there and fix anything that needs to be fixed. i have don't preveiw my post that often. i guess next time i will and see if we can fix them that way

i agree with you i often make misstakes and iam not able to correct my mistakes so have to add another answer.this is a good question there always room for improve ment on anything we do and this differently would be one of them.

Ditto! Yeah, I've just thought of the same about a few minutes ago. I was thinking of the most recent discussion that I started. I know that I started the same discussion with the same title a year ago, but I wanna use the title again and I don't wanna "resurrect" the old discussion since I'll be discussing something "new". I was thinking, "I hope mylot would let me edit the old discussion, change the tile maybe and I do need to add a word in it that I forgot when I started it a year ago." Well, since mylot will not let us edit our own discussions, I went away with posting my new discussion with the same title, I just can't think of a better one..

I wish they would allow editing, too because I have made mistakes in typing and wished that I could go back and change it.

YES, YES, and double, YES, i think that mylot should have an option for its users to edit there discussion's even after its already been posted, because its so frustrating when you make a mistake, and cant go back and fix it, i think mylot should definitely make some improvement's to there software or programming.

Yes, I think there should be an unlimited edit function. Not for responses or comments maybe, but certainly for the discussion main post itself. There are some discussions which may need to be updated every once in a while, and they would benefit from an editing function.

I'm glad this has been brought up. I'd love to see an editing function. Even just like a 1 minute timeframe to make changes. And after you submit your post and get to your tags, you can't edit it anymore. I made some mistakes in some of my posts and would love to correct some.

Yes, I have already commented about this topic in an earlier post. It is very easy to realise that you have made a spelling mistake after that you have hit the submit button. In other times you realise that you could have expressed yourself in a better way. The edit button would make mylot discussions better.

i wish they would, even only for a limited amount of time after you hit the post button... sometimes, i don't find errors until i've hit the post button and i can't edit it anymore. or sometimes there are things i'd want to say but forget to mention... it would be nice to be able to add them. i think and edit button will really help, although i'm not sure of its effect on the pay system....

I seriously think this should be an option. Even though I do use the "PREVIEW RESPONSE" feature, sometimes I don't have a regret about what I might have posted or won't see an error until it is actually part of the discussion -- and of course, when there is no possible way for me to make a change! I hate that! Maybe they could make that feature available for us soon! Great point!

yes , I think they definitely need to let us have some sort of window for us to change things. I have been caught so many times ,with my pants down, because I made mistakes and it makes me feel stupid and I just started so I can only imagine how some of you feel with hundreds or thousands of posts. I hope myLot will change this small lil thing for us , but I wonder if it has something to do with how it calculates money. I have no idea but I still hope :P I hope this finds you well.. Cheers!
