Our day consists of 3 meals which is breakfast, lunch, dinner, and sometimes or most of the time we include snacks, especially those who are not conscious about gaining weight. Nevertheless, we make it a point that we try not to skip meals though sometimes we tend to over eat by eating more times than the usual. So, in your daily eating habits, how many times do you eat in day?
Me, I make sure that I eat my 3 meals in a day. Sometimes I missed on breakfast because I get to sleep around dawn already. Ironic thing is that breakfast is my favorite meal amongst the 3. Lol. So as a result, in average, i eat almost more than 3x a day because I love eating snacks from time to time and I skipped on breakfast.

I eat 2-4 times a day but I usually skip breakfast cos I wake up at around brunch time and so I eat my breakfast together with my lunch and then I have a little snack mid afternoon and then dinner. Most of the time though, I still eat after dinner but I try not to cos I'm watching my weight already. I just can't help having midnight snacks cos I stay up late and I get hungry.

Hi mchavez, I have three meals each day, breakfast, lunch and dinner. I try not to snack in between or to skip meals. I know that many people skip breakfast but I don't think it's a good idea at all, as it is one of our most important meals. Blessings.

I eat 3 times a day; breakfast, lunch and dinner; sometimes with snack and I am conscious of gaining weights so I eat fruits for my snack. I rarely miss eating breakfast, caused it is the important meal of the day so I make it a point to eat something for breakfast.

I usually only eat 2 meals a day, I hardly eat breakfast even though I know its the important meal of the day. I eat lunch and dinner, and I snack in between those times.

I eat once or twice a day. I never (rarely) eat breakfast. There will be times when my body tells me I am hungry, but then my mind tells me that i'm not. But, I will push myself to eat so I can live.

me too, 3 meals a day and generally miss the breakfast not because of sleep but because have to rush for work. having meals with all the family members is also a very good habit and furhter more i don't think having 3 meals a day has any health issues. one should be selective in his or her apitide

before, I just eat 2x a day. that would be brunch, and snack. I don't eat breakfast and dinner. but it always made my tummy ache, and almost got an ulcer and hyper acidity, so I've force to eat 3x a day, or eat on time. and that's what I am doing right now. it helps me to do more, and not to get sick. and I wouldn't forget to eat breakfast everyday. that's the important meal of the day.

I eat twice a day, and that is usually something around 10.30 am and then I will have something else around about 5pm and that is it I do not eat anything else. I do not eat much as my appetite is not huge but also I have to watch what I eat as I get bad stomach from a lot of food and so I just limit what I eat.

I will usually have a snack a few hours after I get up and will eat dinner and a snack after dinner. I usually am not hungry after I wake up and because I wake up later in the morning, I am usually hungry around lunch time. Sometimes, I will eat lunch and dinner, but rarely.

I guess it is irregular, but I am just not hungry early in the day. When I have a job, I do eat 3 meals a day because my activity level increases. Being a stay-at-home-mom now, however, I don't really need to eat 3 whole meals a day. My snacks could probably be considered as light meals. I will often eat a salad or a smoothie as my first snack. I don't really get to sleep A LOT. I stay up late at night, so I wake up later in the morning.

Skipping meals will actually cause you to gain weight as your body will hoard the fat in order to try and compensate for the missing calories and this will cause disruption in the natural cycle of your health. If you truly want to loose weight I suggest cutting back on meat and use alternative protein sources, eat more fresh vegee's and fruit and leave the white bread at the store. Also drink lots of water but not as a meal replacement. The sense of thirst can get crossed with hunger. This means if you are even 3% dehydrated you may think you are hungry when you truly are thirsty. Water cleans the cells, helps the fat not to cling, and keeps your thirst/hunger mechanism in harmony. I would also suggest incorporating more grains and fiber in your diet.
Skipping meals is like trying to run a car with no gas. Not a good idea.

I have been doing weight watchers for over a year and my routine goes like this.
7:00 Breakfast , 10:00 snack, 12:30 lunch, 3:00 snack, 6:00 dinner, 8:30 snack. Most snacks are 0 points (fresh veggies, fruit, jello, pudding, rice snacks etc.) and I don't eat snacks always at these times but can if I want to.
So I have 3 meals a day and don't go more than 3 hours without eating something. Weight Watchers skips no meals ever! That's like the Golden rule!!! LOL
