And what I mean by that is setting up your Christmas tree and getting your decorations in. Me as early as now, we got some flashing lights over here and putting up our Christmas tree later this week. Always good to prepare early and brag about being the first to get ready.

I think Sept is a bit early for putting up Christmas trees and lights, but if that is what you like then that is up to you. We still have Halloween, where I string lines of orange lights and a lighted pumpkin. We usuall by corn stocks and pumpkins to decorate the patio. Then there is Thanksgiving and I don't want anything to over shadow Thanksgiving, it is a time to celebrate and thank the lord for all he has given us over the year. For our blessings. I put the tree up when the earge hits me, usually some time after the first of December. We live in an apartment where there isn't much room and so having the tree up makes it a bit hard to get around. i had the most beautiful prelit christmas tree that we lost in Hurricane Katrina and I miss having it to put up in front of the windows here. Last year at this time I had almost all my christmas shopping done, this year I haven't even started. Can't get in the mood yet. Guess the weather hasn't turned cold enough yet to feel like Christmas is coming.

by reading your discussion so early about christmas that made you wanna start a discussion about it, makes me wonder that your excited about christmas coming over again, aren't you? hahaha i know that feeling it made me excited when i read your post, thanks hahaha. but yea to me, imma convince my mom to buy the christmas tree earlier this time, a white christmas tree this year. we always buy it waaaay to late. we have the decorations in our garage where we used to work. but i think, by the looks of our old decoration, its time to buy newer decorations.

We never start this early. I always put our Christmas tree up (with the rest of the lights and everything) the day after Thanksgiving and then take it down January 2. That's the way it is every year.
