Free Online game advice needed

I want to get into some free RPG games on the net but I'm worried about viruses and slowing down the computer. I like games like the Sims and other sort of games that that girls like to play.
Can anyone recommend some games to me?

I have been playing Travian for the past 6 months.
It is a good game... very addictive... but it also can be tough.
It requires a lot of thinking and a lot of tactics.
It is half Simcity... and half war.
You have to build a village and protect it from the other players who will try to steal from you... attack you... and even try to capture your village... leaving you with nothing.
I play in the UK... which is sort of an international site.

Hi coffee,
I really couldn't help you on that one as I don't go on online games because of viruses and ofcouse I haven't a clue how to go about with them so I just stick to Mylotting.

WORLD OF WARCRAFT or something smaller like TRAVIAN.
I tried both but i liked WORLD OF WARCRAFT more.
