A famous person might be a role model for a young person like a school boy might be interested in a famous football player. Teenage girls love to see good looking men in magazines and might fancy a famous actor. I liked Tom Cruise when I was a teenager but I didn't go mad about him. Yes, he like any other actor is just an ordinary person. When an actor or actress is famous they are on view and they might appear better than the average person. They might seem polite, intelligent and good looking because they have had a make up artist and are acting.
