What do you prefer "aerobics or doing yoga"?

I used to love going for aerobic classes but now I have switch on to "yoga" classes.It calms my mind and help me realize my inner self.I was recommended by one of my friend's mother and it really works to cure my disturb mind.What do you prefer?

Brisk, when I was younger, I enjoyed aerobics very much - the jumping, dancing and the sweating! It was really good exercise and help me to de-stress (release tensions).
However, when I got older, jumping around isn't good anymore. So I went into yoga, like you mentioned, it's relaxing and relieves stress as well. However I can't stand the slow moves, and the meditation, when I was supposed to empty my mind and focus on nothing - I was simply too restless!

It happened with me in the beginning,I could hardly concentrate and so meditation.I don't have enough patience and I also get restless among all those people who came there to learn.Now,I had slowly improved myself.I practice mostly at home.I read good yoga books as well as look into internet.

both are good in their own ways. I do aerobics in the morn and yoga in the evenings. aerobics really brightens up my day,peps me up,the music makes me feel good, in the evenings yoga helps me tune into myself and wind up for the day

I had recently started going for my aerobic classes and I must say,I am really enjoying it.Yoga is good too but I prefer more of aerobics.WHat I feel is, it burns up my calorie faster.Yoga had help me to relax my mind and control my emotions, but I love aerobics more,thanks for the post.
