are you ashamed being a filipino?

filipinos should have many reason to be proud of their nationality and race...dont take so much of those negative write ups which marred the real good quality of the filipinos, be proud of your way of upbringings,your way of respecting the elders by calling them appropriately and not by their mere names as if no having respect for them..be proud saying po and opo and please if needed..be proud though are not rich yet we value life and relationship..be proud of being friendly and hospitable others really notice..be proud filipino that wherever you are what they can see is the picture of what filipino really is, by your work,how you speak, how you interact is the true picture of a real filipino...who are making the way for a better world...how about you are you ashamed being called a filipino?

if our fathers lost this respect for themselves and eventually the respect of other race..then its time for this new generation to have that heart and the mind of being good and proud being a filipino...and this is what the world is seeing now of the filipinos....

I'm not and will never be. What I am ashamed of are the people in the government who doesn't know the real meaning of being a Filipino. I am actually proud of my race though there are negative things attached to us. We still have hope though. Just believe and think positive.

I am proud to be a Filipino what I am not so proud of is those "other Filipinos" if you know what I mean.

i'm definitely proud of being a filipino. like you, i also think that there are lots of things that we should be proud of. many nations have benefited from us,especially now that we are known to be dedicated and passionate workers. and because of that, we try to slowly gain the respect and recognition from other countries. happy mylotting!

you are right friend,things are not the same before..its time to show the world what a filipino should be...and that will not only gain their respect but gain also the lost respect for our self and of our race being a filipino...go filipino!

i am proud to be a filipino....the values that we have is far better than other nationality...just compare the characters of filipino children to other race, majority, they are more respectful.

and that is what a filipino should be looking positively...not imitating other race own cultures that is not really making good for us...and to our children...
