Which would you rather do to earn money for college? Join the Military, Join one of the Civilian Organizations that Provide College Money or just work and save up money for college? Or would you rather just dive into a boat load of debt with school loans? For me, I had a career in the US Army and Army National Guard. I didn't just do it for school money, but since it was one of the benefits of being a vet, darned if I wasn't going to take them up on it. How about you?

Well I work and save to pay for college, and it's not an easy feat. I'm not sure which is easier but I know that work and school isn't the easiest thing in the world.

I put myself through college. I had a full time job and took about 15 units a semester. It took eight years to get my degree but I did it myself and did not owe anyone money. I had friend that had military programs that paid for their tuition but they still had to work to pay for everything else. I have recommended the military route to people because it teaches them discipline (which is lacking in our culture today) and will pay for college tuition.
