do you like Kenshin Himura?? I actually like that character kenshin.. with his piercing eyes..hehe.. batoujutsu.. he's been called battousai the slasher during the tokugawa era..he's a silent killer at all..but then he turn back in being a assassin..that's the spirit of a true samurai..hehe..that's all i can say..
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CHARACTER IN SAMURAI X???why is that you choose that character???is there something special in him or her???

Himura-kun ga suki desu!!! I like Kenshin Himura in that anime. I get fascinated by characters with dark pasts and long hair. It just so happened that he has those characteristics...XD Anyways, he's a great swordsman. He had lived a horrible past and after the Tokugawa Era, he chose to become a wanderer. He's trying to forget his past, but it seems like certain events won't let him do it. He has to go back to his Battousai self in order to protect the ones he loves. Ironic, ne?

yup..but then he doesn't actually kill to protect his love ones..he actually slash them with a reverse edge sword..that cannot actually kill them..but just wounded them..hmm..yup he's been a wanderer trying to forget his past..that's all i can say..

hehe..yeah..kinda like the story..but i like the training of kenshin with his SENSEI when kenshin try to perfect the nine slash dragon technique on his SENSEI..he actually did it but his SENSEI wound was a big wound..hehe..but his SENSEI actually recover from his wound..

Agree!! He won't kill...unless provoked to do so, I think. He almost killed that psycho in the first few episodes, the one who kidnapped Kaoru. If Kaoru hadn't managed to get free from that madman's spell, Kenshin would've killed him.

Yea. I watched it a long time ago. I didn't really manage to finish it. I think the story is great and the characters are great too. However, I seriously find the voice of Kenshin a little too high pitched. He is supposed to be battousai the slasher and how can he sound so girly?! Other than that, the anime is great. 
I personally like Myojin Yahiko. I find him very cute.

hmm..but in the dubbbing of english version of kenshin himura is actually a perfect fit voice for a battousai..hehe..yup pretty wise decision..you like myojin err..hehe..

hmm, i actually like kenshin himura, because of the battousai factor and his legendary cross scar on his left cheek....but my favorite character there is KAMIYA KAORU..
it is because despite of the tough, athletic kaoru we see on the outside is the sweet, gentle feminine that is on the inside...(and is only seen by Kenshin)
she is agile, deadly and master of kamiya style..
she is marvelous!!!
she is able to do the chores in the house (if Kenshin is not finish with it) while teaching in the dojo..
i admire her because she knows how to defend herslef from the bad guys...
and besides... i like the loveteam of Kenshin and Kaoru...so sweet...
they make me remember of someone....

Although he is not my favourite, I agree that he is cool, especially when he says "Aku Soku Zan" (Slay if Evil), a very straight forward philosphy and ideal. He is one of the characters in Samurai X who really existed in history. I wonder how the real Saitou Hajime would be as one of the outstanding members of the Shinsengumi.

I prefer sword battles instead of hand to hand ones, but Sanosuke Sagara has something in his style which I like - all attack and zero defense! Sanosuke Sagara has the spirit to attack, which is something you probably won't see in Kenshin's Hitenmitsurugi fighting style which strength is mainly build upon the reading of enemy's next move and psychological state.

I've watched it a few times in diffrent languages (Chinese, Japanese, English)quite some time ago, and it's one fo my favourites. Among the characters in the anime, I like episodes about Seta Sojiro (the talented kid in blue who is under Shishio, known for his "heavenly sword" ability). I like his style of fight and his story is also very interesting. I've been always wanting to know more about him early in the series and the author certainly didn't disappoint me. Cute and deadly, he gives me a deep impression.
