Hi friends,I heard from my cousin that a 21 year old guy wearing contact lenses,during a barbecue party was staring at a charcoal fire for a few minutes and after sometime he started screaming for help.No one knew what happened.He was immediately admitted in the hospital and the doctors said he will be blind till the death because of the contact lenses he had worn.Contact lenses are made of plastic and the heat from the charcoal melted his contact lenses.
So send this information to as many people as possible.How many of you wearing contavt lenses.Share your opinions please.

I have a poor eyesight but I have never worn contact lenses in my entire life and I don't always wear an eyeglass but I do own one. Just enough so I can read words whenever I am seated at the back of the room. I am not a fan of contact lenses simply because I am afraid of using them. There are lots of dont's in using contact lenses and you have to be extra careful putting them on or taking them off. My sister wears contact lenses and I am always irritated on how meticulous she is on taking care of them. I just can't do it since I am always on the go. Things have to be not so complicated either on putting on or taking off.

Thats not dangerous thats just common sense. I wear contacts and I have sat in front of huge bon fires and nothing like that has happened to me.

Tsk!Tsk!Tsk! What a waste of eyes! I believe all those who are using contact lenses should be aware of this. I believe not all of them know that they are risking their precious eyes by wearing contact lenses and then not knowing the do's and dont's of wearing them. My goodness, I could seem to feel the pain of burning eyes!!! Terrible! I pity the poor guy!
